for caregivers

caregivers are essential

At TLC, we firmly believe that in order to establish a strong foundation for children’s development, caregivers play a crucial role. Caregivers come in various forms including parents, guardians, extended family members, and significant others who have a significant influence on children’s lives beyond the school environment. Being the first teachers, caregivers are tasked with setting internal rules and shaping their moral compass.

While educators possess a range of skills that caregivers may not possess, we acknowledge this disparity and strive to bridge this gap by providing educational support to caregivers. We understand that not everyone has had formal training in child development or pedagogy, and we are committed to equipping caregivers with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively support children’s growth and learning.

By offering educational resources, workshops, and consultations, we empower caregivers to enhance their understanding of child development, effective discipline strategies, and fostering positive relationships. We emphasize the importance of open communication between caregivers and educators, as collaboration and a shared understanding of the child’s needs greatly benefit their overall development.

At TLC, we believe that by working together, educators and caregivers can create a supportive and enriching environment for children both at home and in school. Our goal is to empower caregivers to become confident and knowledgeable partners in their children’s educational journey, ultimately contributing to their success and well-being.
